Ejaculatory Disorders
Ejaculatory disorders include premature ejaculation, delayed ejaculation, anejaculation, retrograde ejaculation, and painful ejaculation. Causes may include medications, neurologic disease, diabetes, hormonal abnormalities, psychological factors, and prior pelvic surgery.
Evaluation is directed toward identifying the underlying cause while considering both sexual and reproductive goals.
Treatment may include behavioral strategies, medications, management of underlying conditions, and specialized fertility treatments for men with anejaculation or other ejaculation disorders affecting fertility.
