Philosophy of Care

Dr. Bernstein is committed to a patient-centered approach, working closely with patients and their partners to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their goals and improve quality of life. He believes that every patient deserves a thoughtful evaluation and a treatment plan tailored to their specific concerns, priorities, and expectations.

Treatment begins with a comprehensive evaluation and, when appropriate, medical and nonsurgical management before considering surgical options. Dr. Bernstein emphasizes education, shared decision-making, and evidence-based care to help patients understand their condition and choose the treatment approach that best fits their goals.

When surgery is recommended, Dr. Bernstein focuses on advanced surgical techniques, detailed preoperative counseling, and comprehensive perioperative care to help patients achieve the best possible outcomes.
